GoldWing Road Riders Association

Chapter AZ-G

Green Valley Geckos

Web Site
Description
This site was first mentioned .under Riding Skills.  However, it is a commercial site and offers accessories for many motorcycles and a huge knowledge base on motorcycle mechanics.  If you are interested in what keeps the dirty side down and the shiny side up, I would strongly suggest this site.
This site is chock full of informaton and “how toos” that don’t show up in the service manuals and it cover a substantional number of different Goldwing models.  It’s definitely worth a look if you can’t figure out what else to do.
This is a funky little page with some hints on easy maintenance for Goldwings.  However, read the disclaimer first.  You will note that these are not suggested maintenance tips by any Honda recognized organization.
This is a comercial site where illustrated maintenance routines for GL1500 and GL1800 Goldwings can be purchased.  Beware, they are a bit pricey but not as pricey as the Goldwing Service Manual and a whole llot more helpful.
This sirte offers a 16 disk DVD set that covers a great many different GL1800 maintenance topics.  Take a look.  It is still cheaper than the Service Manual.
Everybody needs help occasionally with maintenance on their Goldwing.  Personally, I rank myself as dumb as a rock.  But, I am a good listener and can follow instructions.  However, the $130.00 Service Manual I purchased for my Wing leaves me wanting more often than not.  The web sites listed below are particularly good at answering some of the more pressing questions about maintenance and present enough detail to allow you to do it yourself.  BIG SAVINGS in case you haven’t had it done by Honda service centers yet.
