“A picture is worth a thousand words.” How many times have you hear that expression? Oh please! Well..., it’s true. A pictorial reminder is much stronger than a narrative. It is said that our sense of smell is even more acute in that way. However, since they haven’t invented a way to get odors through the Internet yet, we will just have to do with photo galleries.
This section of our website doubles as a Scrapbook. Photos are entered with the latest first and followed by earlier and earlier photos. That way you can follow us right back to our humble beginnings right here.
There are buttons sub-pages listed above. Each is explained below and repre-sents a different event category.
Rogue’s Gallery is a tribute to the motorcycle that brings us together. Each photo represents an example model of the Honda Gold Wing motorcycle. Clicking on each photo will link you to a sight containing a brief history of that model and innovations that occurred while that model was produced. Those of you who are unfamiliar with this history will probably find this fascinating. There are some fun photos of unusual Gold Wings too. I think you will find them interesting.
Ride the Horns relates the history of our annual fund raiser which occurs every March.
Group Rides, as the title suggests relates in pictures the various group rides in which Chapter G has engaged. Since we go on many group rides, you will find this section broken down by year as sub directories.
Individual Rides illustrates the various individual rides that riders and/or co-riders have undertaken while flying the colors of Chapter G.
Finally, Special Events depicts the various social events and community activities in which Chapter G has participated but did not have a ride associated with them. Like the Group Rides, this section is broken down into years as we have a bunch of photos to show and this sections doubles as the Chapter Scrap Book.
